There are a few settings within the app to configure the position of the Google store widget
Select either the Settings option from the left-hand menu of the easy Google Customer Reviews app, or select the Configure Widget button from the dashboard of the app:
Once in the settings, you will see the Store widget settings section:
Once you have enabled the badge widget, you can control the placement of the badge using the Position and Margin settings as well as the language used within the badge.
Position
Within the Position setting, click on the dropdown to reveal the options, which are:
BOTTOM_RIGHT
BOTTOM_LEFT
Select either BOTTOM_RIGHT or BOTTOM_LEFT for the general position of the widget.
Region (Optional)
We'd recommend leaving this as the default in most cases so that the customer is presented with the reputation data for the country that they are currently viewing the Shopify store in.
The region setting tell's Google which country’s Shop Rating / Top Quality Store programme to load and display.
Margin settings
The margin settings control how far the badge sits from the edges of the screen, on desktop and mobile.
They are purely for positioning and help avoid overlaps with things like chat widgets, cookie banners, or sticky buttons.
Desktop side margin
The horizontal distance in pixels from the side of the screen where the badge is positioned.
If position =
BOTTOM_LEFT→ distance from the leftIf position =
BOTTOM_RIGHT→ distance from the right
Desktop bottom margin
The vertical distance in pixels from the bottom of the screen where the badge is positioned. Moves the badge away from the bottom of the screen.
Mobile margins
These are the same idea, just applied on smaller screens.
Mobile side margin
The horizontal distance, in pixels, from the active side of the screen on mobile devices.
Mobile bottom margin
The vertical distance, in pixels, from the bottom of the screen on mobile devices.
