The Easy Google Customer Reviews app supports multiple languages across two different touchpoints:
The checkout block (the prompt on your post-purchase pages)
The Google survey opt-in (on the proxy page)
Here's how the language settings works for each.
Checkout app block language
The checkout app block that appears on the Thank You page and Order Status page supports automatic translation for the following languages:
English (default)
Danish
German
Spanish
Finnish
French
Hindi
Icelandic
Italian
Japanese
Dutch
Norwegian
Portuguese
Swedish.
When using the default title and introduction text, the app block text will be translated automatically into the customer's checkout language if it's one of the supported languages above.
If the customer's language is not supported, the block will fall back to English.
Please note:
If you override the default title or introduction text in the checkout editor with your own custom copy, the custom text will not be automatically translated. It will display exactly as you've written it, regardless of the customer's language.
If your store serves customers in multiple languages, keep this in mind before customising the text.
Google survey opt-in language
The language of the Google survey opt-in pop-up (on the proxy page) is controlled by the Language setting in the app. You have two options:
Auto-detect (default) - Google will detect the customer's browser language and display the survey in that language if supported. If the language is not supported, it will default to English.
Specific language - You can set a fixed language in the app settings. This is useful if your store operates primarily in one language.

Shop-specific language overrides
For some stores, we have configured language overrides at the system level. If your store operates in a language that requires special handling, contact support and we can look into setting this up for you.
