Your Google Merchant Center ID is a numeric identifier that links your Shopify store to your Google Merchant Center account. You'll need to enter it in the app settings before the Google Customer Reviews program can work on your store.
How to find your Merchant Center ID
Sign in to your Google Merchant Center account.
Look for your Merchant ID in the account. Depending on whether you're using the classic or new Merchant Center experience, the ID may appear in different places:
Classic Merchant Center: Your Merchant ID is displayed in the top-right corner of the page, or under Settings > Business information.
Merchant Center Next: Your Merchant ID can be found under Settings > Business info, or at the top of the sidebar navigation.
The ID is a number (for example,
123456789). Copy this number.
Entering your Merchant ID in the app
Open the Easy Google Customer Reviews app in your Shopify admin.
If this is your first time using the app, you'll see the welcome screen with a field to enter your Merchant ID.
Paste your Merchant Center ID into the field and click Save.
If you've already completed the initial setup, you can update your Merchant ID at any time by going to Settings within the app.
Don't have a Google Merchant Center account?
If you don't yet have a Google Merchant Center account, you'll need to create one before you can use the app. You can sign up for free at merchants.google.com.
Once you have an account, you'll also need to enable the Google Customer Reviews add-on.
See Enabling Google Customer Reviews in Google Merchant Center for instructions.
